Electra Under Threat!
About Peverel would like to thank contributor Jonathan for breaking this major story concerning Electra.
Whilst congratulating themselves on the purchase of TGI Fridays, Electra have found themselves have become potential victims of a hostile takeover by Sherbourne Investors. It is understood that Sherbourne have recently divested their 10% stake in 3i. They have huge resources at their disposal. Therefore any fight for control for Electra is very unlikely to be won by the current Electra management.
Sherbourne don't act out of sentiment. If they can increase profits of a company, they will. If they can't it's sold off for what they can get.
What future for Peverel/ Firstport we wonder?
