Should Have Done A Deal, Tchenguiz!
Vincent Tchenguiz had been claiming £300m from the SFO, whilst his brother, Robert, was claiming £150m.
Eventually, Vincent received £3m and Robert £1.5m.
The settlement as we now know, has triggered the sale of both their assets.
About Peverel has been led to believe that before the case went ahead, the SFO offered a £50m payout to settle the case, which was rejected.
