Rob Wilson MP Steps In To Help Peverel Residents
Rob Wilson MP for Reading West has been praised for stepping in to help elderly residents living in Southglade a Peverel managed development. The problem was over the kerbs being too sharp for the residents and Peverel's typical reluctance to install drop kerbs. Rob Wilson MP intervened on the residents behalf. Part of the job was done, but Mr Wilson had to keep the pressure on Peverel as according to Mr Wilson they "backtracked" on their original agreement.
A local trader who has visited Southglade has been quoted as saying "I was shocked to see the poor workmanship at Southglade"
