Is Anyone There?
Questions have been raised around the country as to whether the "live in" house managers are properly registered for council tax or if due to an administrative error the house managers flat has been reported as empty?
About Peverel has contacted a number of councils over this issue.
In addition further questions have been raised as to whether loans have been taken out secured against a leasehold granted by the freeholder on house managers flats and that the fact that the flats have restrictions placed on them has been properly recorded.
