Class Action Against Peverel (the only class Peverel will ever have)

In admitting to collusive tendering Peverel published a list of 65 developments that were affected and offered a "goodwill" payment to the developments of £100,000.

Further investigation reveals that it is very probable that more developments were victims of the collusive tendering, and that the true losses to developments were £700,000.

Now (with thanks to Carlex) at least 6 developments have joined with Carlex to initiate legal action to force Peverel to return all the money they cheated developments out of. A law firm has been retained on a "no win, no fee" basis.

Either Peverel will have to repay what is owing, or face court action.

In court, those developments do not have to prove that they were victims of collusive tendering. Peverel have admitted it to the OFT.

The question for a court would be to decide "How much did Peverel gain from the collusive tendering?"

Was the true figure around £1,500 per development or is £10,500 per development nearer the truth?

If you live on a development that has been named, or live on one that you think was affected, please contact Carlex. You are entitled to have your own money paid back.
