A Warning To Peverel Concerning Insurance
Peverel are reminded that where acting on behalf of the freeholder, they have a duty to ensure that all developments carry proper insurance cover. This should include cover for subsidence.
It is also a requirement under the Leasehold and Tenant Act to show a copy of the insurance policy to a leaseholder when requested.
Peverel are further reminded, that in the event of any incident that has not been insured against (such as subsidence) they will be held liable for any losses.
