Another Peverel Tactic Goes Wrong!

In order to maintain their retention rate, Peverel had the idea of offering not to dispute any RTM actions in return for bein appointed as managers for another 1 or two years.

As the financial backers of Peverel became more concerned at the shattering loss of management contracts, this served to calm the backers nerves and at the same time suited some developments in that it meant they avoided a costly fight.

Though it also gave Peverel a chance to show they could manage a development in a proper manner, several high profile cases have shown that Peverel were unable to do this and they were sacked as soon as possible.

This scheme appears to have hit the buffers, because though Peverel supported a RTM action (in return for a management contract) the freeholder (in this instance Fairhold) has objected to the RTM.

The response of Peverel was simply to hand back responsibility and walk away from their agrreement.

The RTM is now being processed by the Right To Manage Federation (who have been very successful in removing Peverel on other developments)

About Peverel wish them well for their latest battle.
