As a leaseholder on a Peverel managed development, you might believe it to be reasonable to ask Peverel if they actually have a wriiten contract given by the freeholder to manage? It should be very simple for Peverel to reply "Yes we have, please find enclosed a copy of the contract"
Instead they say " Peverel are the managing agents, Proxima GR are the freeholders"
You will note they do not say "Yes".
Naturally a leaseholder was very concerned and expressed his concerns to fellow leaseholders (as is perfectly proper)
The result was not a clarification which could have adressed the leaseholders concerns, but a letter to other leaseholders from a senior member of Peverel staff, expressing concern at the distress this leaseholder was causing other leaseholders!
It really is very simple. If Peverel do have a contract to manage SHOW IT!
