The Carlex website has published a list of the 65 sites that Peverel have admitted to being part of the collusive tendering scam. According to Peverel, they cannot calculate the actual amount lost to residents, so they have offered a "goodwill" payment of £100,000 to cover all 65 developments.
Clearly, the losses have been much greater. Since Peverel are not going to repay money stolen from residents, court action is required to get your money back.
Have no fear about this! You will not have to prove that Peverel are guilty. The OFT have done this for you. Indeed they are hoping residents do bring claims. Their report states "This judgement leaves the door open for residents to bring a claim against Peverel"
All that a court would have to decide on is the amount you are owed. In this Peverel have not helped themselves by admitting that they cannot calculate the amount of losses.
All you need to do is decide to take court action. Carlex has available any number of law firms willing to take this action forward. Please if you are affected get in touch, say you want to take legal action, and it shall be done.
