About Peverel has just discovered thay Consort (part of the Peverel Group) has had their contract terminated by St George ( of St Georges Wharf fame) to manage the Beaufort Park, North London Development.
Comprising of what is thought to be around 1,500 apartments(subject to checking) shops, restuarants, pool, spa, gym etc it is almost the size of a small town!
Residents complained about the very poor level of services provided by Consort to St George, who decided to appoint a new managing agent.
It is understood by About Peverel, that in exchange for continuing to manage Beaufort Park, Consort (off the record) offered the residents a "one off, in full settlement of any disputes" a payment thought to be in the region of £20,000, which was rejected by the residents.
The loss of such a prime development comes as a savage blow to Peverel, at a time they need every penny of income they can generate.
