It appears that McCarthy & Stone are about to be bought out by Lone Star an American Venture Capital company who have a reutation of buying up struggling companies at low prices.
Board members stand to make a financial killing.
However McCarthy & Stone residents will suffer from increasingly poor service and ever escalating charges as the new owners asset strip the company.
