Following an independently managed tender process Firstport has appointed OpenView to manage the maintenance and repair of both fire safety systems and emergency call systems.

The part of the contracts that went out to tender were loss making for Appello.
Not only did OpenWiew win the "independently managed tender process" but at the very same time that they were tendering they purchased the very company they were bidding against?
It seems they were offered very good terms, as the sale price was agreed at £435,000 with Firstport covering the debts within the company.
Even better for OpenView, they are being allowed to pay the £435,000 in installments!
Anyone else notice the price increases since OpenView took over?
Perhaps that is how they are financing the take-over?
