Memo To Firstport Contractors
Dear Firstport Contractor,
If you are sent to sort out strange noises below a sink unit and you diagnose a problem with a valve on the soil stack situated in the loft for which you decide to replace the valve can you please ensure that it is a water pipe you insert the valve into and not the boiler flue?
Otherwise, not only will you not have fixed the problem, but by hacking through a gas pipe this leads to an escape of gas possibly, leading to death by gassing or death by explosion?
A water pipe will have a liquid in it, whilst a gas pipe will not?
Hope this helps?
