 How to get a website
for YOUR ORGAN SOCIETY

 Organ Societies who do not have their own websites are invited to contact: www.spanglefish.com who offer FREE (DIY) websites with an option of a 'gold' version with more features and no adverts.  The gold version costs £24.95 per annum - almost the same price as the Organfax subscription mentioned below.

Other website options available:
ORGANFAX www.organfax.co.uk/directories/clubs/  produce a webpage on their website for their subscribers who pay a modest fee per annum.   Organfax  provide a very comprehensive service and is excellent value for money. Subscribers have their exclusive webpage made for them, which includes concert details - these may be modified by the society who have an access password.  It is ideal for those who have not got the time or the inclination to do their own website.

This is a build service for those who would like a website built for them.  The cost is around £285

ABOUT SPANGLEFISH
Spanglefish is the name used by Plexus Media who are based in the UK.   They claim to have over 15,000 website users worldwide and have an on-line forum and on-line manual to assist them.  Samples websites (gold versions) can be seen on  www.spanglefish.com/casestudies.asp

DOMAIN NAMES

The domain name (address) given to your website by Spanglefish would be similar to ours: www.spanglefish.com/yourorgansociety but you can make the name shorter by registering your own domain name as we have done: www.yourorgansociety.tk      The registration system re-directs it to the Spanglefish address.

The one we use (.tk) is free but you can have a choice of others, including .co.uk or a .com if you pay.  There are several firms who will register the name for you.  Just do a 'Domain Name Registration' search on Google.
