Adrian was born on 6 September 1959, the eldest of three sons of John Armar Vully de Candole and Elizabeth "Lisa" Longworth.
Adrian was married on 22 October 1994 in Chealsea Old Church to a third cousin, Zara Corry Grant Morris.
Adrian was a mushroom farmer in Shackleford, near Godalming.
They had two sons:-

Corry, born 2 January 1997
Zara Corry Grant Morris
Zara was born in Westminster on 3 March 1969, the daughter of Adrian Grant Morris, the youngest son of Alison de Candole, who was the daughter of the Rev. J.A.C.V.de C. , who was the younger brother of Adrian's great grandfather, Rev. Arma C.V.de C.
Zara's mother was Audrey nee Baker.
Zara is a Doula.
