Open Gardens Weekend Exceeds Expectations

The Rambler is delighted to report that 548 visitors enjoyed fine weather and a friendly welcome at this year’s Cold Ashby Open Gardens Weekend.

This event, held to raise funds for the upkeep of St Denys Church, has been organised and run by village volunteers annually for the last 26 years.

Our church is in need of some new floorboards and part of the stone wall will require rebuilding, so the money raised will help us complete these projects.

The Rambler knows that there are often several of this website’s readers at the event and that some of you combine your visit with a local walk – so, if you are one of those admirable ramblers, a special thanks to you for your interest and support!
