Crystal Solitaire 2018

Klinta Sultan x Crystal Shadowlight.
This cracking chestnut pure crabbet filly was bred at Romac. Klinta Sultan was a loan resident stallion until he was sold. Look at that movement!! One to watch for the future. Solitaire is based in Shropshire (Zobeyni Arabians).

This beautiful filly has been given to Lucy Gash. Lucy comes to help Daphne after school and has been wonderful in all that she does at Romac.
Her full brother, Crystal Heartbeat is 16hh.
Daphne has used her personal prefix Sunfield, as she has used Isadora before.
She will be grey.

Sunfield Crystal Star 2019 -2019

This lovely PC filly is to be retained at Romac. Star will probably turn grey. Daphne has used her Sunfield prefix to allow the name Crystal Star. I look forward to her progress. Photo credit Alexia Ross.
Sadly, Star contracted an infection and passed away. Such a loss to the Crabbet gene pool and the Stud.

Crystal Stardrift 1999 AHS premium mare

A lovely 100% Crabbet, 100% OE mare. One of Daphne's favourites. Stardrift bred by Maureen de Popp, is the last daughter of Crystal Sunset by Rafid, who in turn was the last daughter of Grey Crystal (Romac/Silver Bell).

Bint Arishma 1999 -2020

A striking chestnut mare. The only one that does not have Romac in her bloodlines.
Bint Arishma has been sold and now lives in Hampshire. She will continue as a brood mare.
Sadly Rishy lost her life in sad cirucmstances.

Bint Irexandya 2002

A high % Crabbet.... Iffy is a very pretty mare. Her sire is the lovely Polish boy, Secret Heart. Foal at foot is Crystal Heartbeat.
Iffy currently is doing some low grade endurance and dressage. She is on loan to Maggie Wagstaff.

Tia Mia 2008 - 2016

One of Ibn Silver's daughters. Dam Shades of Tessra. Full sister to Shadowsfly. A very pretty and sweet 95% Crabbet, 100% OE. Just sold to a lovely home. Tia Mia is to be schooled and ridden away this winter. Hopefully she will be put to a 100% Crabbet stallion to preserve her OE breeding, spring 2015.
Sadly Tia Mia passed away suddenly in 2016.

Crystal Silver Star 2008 - 2015

Daughter of Ibn Silver. Pinky has yet to produce a foal for the Romac Stud. A lovely photo of Daphne and her Dachshund, Goldie. Sadly, on the 6th January 2015, Pinky was peacefully pts after a short illness.

Crystal Silver Chance 2012

A pretty 100% Crabbet GSB mare owned by Angela Brown. (Ibn Silver x Crystal Shadowlight). She was Silver's last daughter. He sired two other PC....Crystal Sapphire and Crystal Silver Star both 2008.
Now ridden as a five year old with Angela on board.

Bint Magnetta 1998 - 2022

(Celtic Shadow 1991 x Magnetta 1978). A high % Crabbet mare who has produced some lovely foals, particularly Celtic Maggie May 2005, Sharqis Crystal Magnet 2011 and Crystal Red Shadow 2014.
Sadly Nettie passed away May 2022 giving birth. However, a big strapping colt survived.

Anna is one of my favourite high % Crabbet mares. Probably because she is the dam of my own Crystal Flash 2010 - 2012 (pictured) and she has a lovely, sweet temperament.

Irexandya 1978 - 2008

(Romac 1951 x Thyra 1969).
Alex was bred at Daphne's Cilcoed Stud and was the last remaining offspring of Romac. If you talk with Daphne, she has amazing stories to tell about racing Alex. Even thou she didn't win any races, Alex raced her heart out and would bolt from start to finish! She did come a very respectable 3rd at Market Rasen in the 1980's. Daphne had great fun riding her and getting her fit to race.
Alex in 1988, retired from racing and produced ten foals for the stud. Her first foal was Celtic Inspiration (Idris x Irexandya) and her last foal was Bint Irexandya (Secret Heart x Irexandya).
Alex has left a remarkable stamp of a riding horse through her offspring. This shows how versatile these Crabbets are!

Christabella 2007

(Secret Heart x Coralie Belle)
Incredible Polish influence running through this very pretty, sweet tempered high % Crabbet mare. Christabella has lovely dark, large eyes and a broad forehead. Her foals are very striking.

Tessra 1953 - 1986 (Daphne thinks this is correct)

(Rufeyan 1946 - Taima 1944).
A very important mare in Daphne's breeding program. Rufeyan was exported to Australia but left two fillies in the UK...Tessra and Yanni (Rufeyan x Yavroum). To jog our memories, Yavroum is of course Romac's dam. Daphne bred a lovely foal from Tessra, Tashmar (Fancy Shadow x Tessra). A big bodied mare with the characteristic large eye.
Eventually, through some lovely breeding, Shades of Tessra 1998, grandaughter to Tashmar (Celtic Shadow x Tashara) was born.

Celestina 1971 -

(Indian King 1953 x Cilicia 1965).
In this photo Daphne is showing her. She said that Celestina was not a particularly pretty mare, but did throw some lovely foals....Princess Romana (Romac).

100% Crabbet 100% OE GSB turning grey filly. (Crystal Romance x Crystal Shadowlight). A very correct foal who will be very versatile in her chosen discipline. SOLD to Pauline Atkinson.

Crystal Grey Charm 2016

100% Crabbet 100% OE GSB chestnut filly.
(Crystal Romance x Crystal Stardrift AHS premium mare status). Charm has joined Crystal Heartbeat who is her 3/4 brother. Both owned by Ruth Whitby.
I have placed Charm back at Romac to have a foal. This is planned for 2022.

Crystal Rishara 2016

High % chestnut Crabbet filly. (Crystal Romance x Bint Arishma). Indeed a very pretty filly with extravagent movement. Rishara has been sold and lives near Wrexham. Her new stable name is now Nala. I wish Sophie Errington huge success with her Romac mare.

Clara Belle 2016

High % Crabbet filly. (Klinta Sultan x Christabella CMK). A very nice Crabbet with a dash of Polish. Clara Belle is pictured on the left with Crystal Grey Special. Purchased by Jocelyn Bingham.

This lovely 100% Crabbet 100% OE filly (Klinta Sultan x Crystal May) has been sold to Angela Brown.
Sadly her dam rejected her and has been hand reared by Daphne. Credit to her as the filly is thriving.

This lovely filly is named after a star constellation. Very apt as she was born under the stars.
