After a fierce tirade directed at OH journeyman Chris Reidy, whinging winger Russ Jones tasted the sweet smell of success in his appeal for an assist on the first day of the season. Tom Nichols was the first to get behind Jones, and Keeno (keen to keep the memory of the ensuing 25 yrd thunderbolt fresh in peoples' minds) then threw his considerable frame behind Jones' campaign. The result being that Jones moves onto 1 assist after 3 games, good on you lad!! On the stats side, not all the PCs in Santiago like the stats table, and so it might take a few days to get this up to date. But anyway, we're not sure who got the assist for Rob Biela's goal when we lost 4-3, or for a couple of the goals on saturday. Email me asap if you know and it will be sorted soon. Finally, Andy Evans will be delighted to know that after Jones' rant, he now gets an assist for Rob Vellosa's pen last week!
