Steve, Andy, Keeno and Matt Jackson met up last week to discuss how the club would best be financed this year. "There will be a £30 signing on fee, with £5 a game subs. New members of the club will only have to pay £15 signing on fee. Each game, the man of the match (as selected by the committee) will be spared from paying his subs. Old Habs is now charging us for pitch hire (£50 a game, subject to Andy's confirmation) the ref is £25 and teas are £25. Home games will therefore cost £100. Away games will subsidise home games and other expenditure e.g. we need balls, water bottles, pegs, hooks etc. Any surplus money will go towards a Christmas night out or friendlies. Andy is keen to try and get one of our cup games at a decent pitch and stadium like Millwall or Leyton Orient. Bookings will be paid by the player and not the club. Keen will deal with all administration associated with bookings and will notify the player concerned when payment is due. Kingy (subject to his agreement) will take on an executive role for the committee as 'fines master' - players will be fined as Kingy sees fit e.g. wearing ridiculous white boots (Evans). There will be a weekly maximum fine so repeat offenders won't be broke. As before money will go towards a social or possible tour."
