do bhàrdachd
Is fìor thoil leam a' bhàrdachd - Proinsias Ó Drisceoil, thall an Árainn.

na dàin agad
Nèill chòir,

'S toil leam na dàin agad - tha iad gu math eadar-dhealaichte seach na dàin leis an do bhuannaich thu duais ann an Gaillimh. Tha mi dol leis na thuirt Maoilios - gu bheil iad eadar bàrd baile agus an nòs ùr. 'S toil leam gu mòr "Mo Chùrsa Fhèin": m' fhaireachdainn fhèin...mo thrusgan inbhe - tha sin cho fìor. Mur n-urrainn dhuinn faireachdainn, dè luach a tha ann an rud sam bith?

Taing airson seo a shealltainn dhomh.

Meg Bateman

I like your poems - they are quite different from the poems with which you won a prize in Galway. I agree with what Myles said - they are between village poet and modern. I greatly like "My Own Course": my own feelings...my robes of status - that is very true. If we cannot feel, what worth is anything?

Thank you for showing me this.

Mairg Mise
Nach iontach go deo an focal é 'leathleabadóir' - déarfainn go bhféadfadh an focal scaipeadh isteach sa chaint dá mbeadh cur amach ag daoine air.

What a wonderful word 'leathleabadóir' is - I'd say it could be disseminated in speech if people had a knowledge of it.

Nach annasach am facal 'leathleabadóir' - chanainn gun gabhadh am facal a sgaoileadh sa chainnt nam biodh eòlas aig daoine air.

House Husband
I can totally relate to this poem Niall. The same thought races through my head each morning as I awake. I hope this next bit is correct -
Meal do naidheachd a dhuine òig!
Simon

Tuigidh mi an dàn seo gu tur, a Nèill. Bidh an aon smaoin nam cheann gach madainn 's mi a' dùsgadh. Tha mi an dòchas gu bheil an ath phàirt ceart -'Meal do naidheachd a dhuine òig'!
Sìm.

Poems
Niall, I love your poems, they become ever more Haiku-like and to-the-point. Twinkle on.

A Nèill, is fhìor thoil leam na dàin agad, tha iad a' sìor-fhàs coltach ri bàrdachd Haiku 's iad pongail dìreach.
Cum ort, a reul.
