Inevitable Price Rises

It is always a difficult decision to make when it comes to prices.  This time, however, it is not as difficult as usual.  Mr Cameron has declared that the minimum wage must rise in April by 50p per hour.

For the small shop keeper ( sounds a bit like Arkwright !) this is a massive amount to absorb, and sometimes it cannot be.

That is why, along with other increasing backroom costs (insurance, electric, gas, maintainance contracts, banking costs, etc) it means we have no alternative but to increase our prices, or else we may as well close the doors.
