The first Inverness Congress, held in September 2013, was sponsored by Sylvestrus Ltd  http://www.sylvestrus.co.uk/  and Auchmore Renewables.

The Club has been sponsored by the Chieftain Hotel since the start, not only do they provide a free venue but they have provided finance and equipment.

The Hotel also provides the venue for the Inverness Junior Chess Congress which has been held for the past 4 years. I hope as members we will support this hotel whenever we can and use the facilities when the opportunity arises.

Royal Mail also provided a substantial ammount of finance when we started and on behalf of the club I would like to thank them also.
