13 August 2007

If you would like to look for bats yourself you could come along to one of the bat walks we have organised throughout the summer

What do you need to bring ?
As we are going to be looking for bats in the evening, you might want to wrap up warm and bring a torch. Depending on where we are going some midge repellent might be essential ! A pair of small plug in headphones which can be used with the bat detectors can help to block out background noise and allow you to hear the bats clearly.

We will provide bat detectors to use and lots of advice and information to help identify the bats that we see.
