Keith Geddes CBE, Chair of the Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) was in Livingston today to officially sign the CSGN Local Authority Concordat. The CSGN is intended to deliver ‘a step change in environmental quality, woodland cover and recreational opportunities'. Whilst in Livingston, Keith Geddes and Head of Development of the CSGN Support Unit, Sue Evans, met with representatives from Dedridge Environment Ecology Project and Bellsquarry Woodland Work Group on site where they were able to see some of the projects that individual groups have successfully completed and gain an insight into the groups’ wider aspirations of the Livingston South Blue-Green Network Steering Group which aims to reconnect isolated habitats, restructure and manage woodland planting, improve access and invest in new seating and litter bins.
