GENERAL CLUB RULES

  1. Members have access to locker room, toilets and compound at all times.
  2. Sailing equipment may be left in appropriate areas of the Club by arrangement with the House Convenor but subject to Rule 4.
  3. During the period of an officially organised function arranged by the Sailing Club an Officer of the Day appointed by the General Committee will have complete authority.
  4. Any damage to Sailing Club or members' property caused or discovered by a member should be reported to the Officer of the Day or House Convenor.  Such damage will be investigated by the Committee.  The Sailing Club will not be held responsible for damage to or loss of Members' property.
  5. Members keeping their boats in the Club compound will be allocated a position in the compound by the Compound Officer and must comply with his instructions at all times.  Pre-payment of parking dues, and the production of a current third party insurance certificate are required.  Every boat must be on a serviceable trolley.
  6. Members may be asked to move their boats for special events.  Every opportunity will be given for members to do this themselves via the Club Notice board.  The Club cannot be held responsible for damage occurring because of defective maintenance of members' equipment.
