January     Leonard M. Powell took his degree at Cambridge

           George H. Powell took his degree at Cambridge

           George S. Marriott took his degree at Oxford & went to Dr. Gott at Leeds.

March 8th   Edward & Fanny Morrell sailed for Burmah leaving their 2 little boys at B. Hill.

           The Rev. Albert Cheese presented to the living of New Bilton

           The Rev. George P. Irby presented to the living of Doddington, Northamptonshire.

May        Arthur C. Powell gave up his house in London & took one at Bognor for a time

June        Frederick & Maria Read moved to Crouch End.

           Clement Powell took his degree at Oxford and went to Dr. Gott.

August 8th  Ellen Henrietta Judith da: of Henry & Ellen Stevens b. at Liverpool, bap: there.

           John Clark Powell son of Thomas & Emma Powell left Uppingham & went to King's Coll: Cam:

8th         Harry & Emma Powell moved to the White House Loughton

13th        Agnes Irene da: of Thos: & Agnes Robinson b: at Ewshot & bap: there.

           Wilfred Heaton came home from the Cape with his Regiment the 24th.

November 6  James Marriott, son of Townsend & Mary Powell b. at Malvern.

November 23 George Crawley killed by a bale of goods falling on him at Progreso off the coast of Mexico.
