The New Year brings significant change for Artsplay Highland. In September 2012 Emer Beattie, John Boocock and Julia Nelson stepped down from the Board of Directors and Jelica Gavrilovic resigned as Projects Manager after years of dedication and hard work that witnessed the success of many varied and far-reaching artistic projects and workshops. Mairi Oakley, Calum MacMillan, Angela Cran, Anne McDonald have joined Chris King on a new Board of Directors . Monica Neeling has taken over the role of Artistic Director and Emily MacQuarrie as Project Co-ordinator.
We have many innovative and exciting plans for the future of Artsplay Highland 
and are committed to continuing the superb work that  has been achieved since being set up in 2003. Our initial project will be called “ Music Matters” and will involve a team of specialist Early Years Music Teachers visiting Primary School Nurseries in the Highland Area to deliver workshops that foster child creativity. They will be primarily music based also drawing on other art forms to encourage each child to express themselves through the arts while at the same time learning basic musicianship skills.
