Throughout September 2009, some of the best workshopping artists will be delivering training ses-sions across the Highlands. The training days are designed to encourage childcare staff and students to come and play for a day and learn new skills. Artsplay Highland delivers training days every year in the Highlands, focussing on specific artforms. The September 2009 sessions will concentrate on the traditional arts and crafts and also the use of digital media. All the workshops are practical and hands-on  - learning whilst having fun is integral to the sessions. There will be an exciting variety of workshops for each day with new and local artists - including textiles (weaving, dyeing, felting, knitting, stitching), ceramics and mosiacs, woodland arts, software for photoshop, short-film-making, comic-strips and animation.

Our workshops are approved as CPD by Learning and Teaching in Scotland.
