We have lived most of our lives in the Highlands, and our home lies between Inverness and Culloden Battlefield.   We have been inspired not only by the marvellous landscapes of our own area but also by painting visits to mainland Europe and the magnificent west coast of Scotland.

Helen paints mainly in oil, and her output ranges from the semi-abstract interpretation of landscape to pure abstraction.   Eric's work is mostly representational, interpreting landscape and still-life in watercolour, ink and pencil.   He works either directly from the subject or from his own photographs.
