Charles Johnson 1888–1967
was born in Burton-upon-Trent on 18 July 1888, and was baptised there on 12 August 1888. He was the youngest child (of seven) of Charles Francis Thornewill (1841-1929) and Elizabeth Edmunda Ann nee Johnson (b.1847).
In Q3 1915 in St Pancras, he married Gladys Evanwy Elliott
They had no children.
Gladys died in 1955 (see below) and he then married a cousin, Dorothy Wright in Q3 1955 in Claro, Yorkshire. They had no children.
He died Q4 1967 in Claro.

She was the youngest of the nine children of Edwin Dutton Elliott (1844–1918) and Laura Jane nee Jones (1848–1921) .
She died aged 65 in Brixworth, Northants, in Q1 1955
