(Houghton Tower 1940's Weekend April 2011)

The following photos where taken with the group deployed as a small dressing station with a Field Surgical Team & Dental Section attached. Set up as an Arnhem scenario the position was overun by the German troops and true to form with the RAMC, friend and foe alike where treated along side each other!

(Chelteren Open Air Museum March 2011)

The following photos where taken whilst a group of British 1st Airborne Re Enactors tried to re create the final moments within the Oosterbeek perimeter for those that volunteered to stay behind so that the remains of the division could escape across the Rhine river to British lines. Once the signal had been recieved that the remains of the Division had managed to escape the remaining British troops that had stayed behind so that there friends could escape, finally surrendered to the overwhelming German forces encircling there defensive positions.
