Bad news for the Ullapool makers and producers who sell through market stalls. The Ullapool Harbour Trustees have decided that having an additional market in Ullapool during the week based in the Pier marquee would be unfair on other local shop owners. It is a great pity. But, thanks to Harry Mcrae, proprietor of the Seaforth Hotel, we are still able to have our March to September Saturday Street Market. So hopefully, if you are visiting   Ullapool this year do call into the street market - open Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
