The Yurt

Our Yurt is fully equipped for comfortable camping for two people. The Yurt is furnished with two single beds with mattresses. Guests can bring their own sleeping bags or bedding. Sheets and bedding can be provided for an additional cost.

An indoor cooking area is provided with a gas camping stove (fuel can be purchased from the owners if required). Cooking pots and eating utensils are also provided.

There is no electricity or running water in the Yurt. A solar light and wind up lantern is provided. Guests can collect their own drinking and cooking water from an outside tap in the field. A toilet tent with camping toilet is located adjacent to the Yurt.

Children are welcome. Guests are welcome to have a small campfire and a fire ring is provided. Wood can be purchased from the owners at a cost of £5 per sack. One well behaved dog is welcome. The Yurt is situated on a working croft with sheep and cattle. Dogs must be kept on a lead around livestock.
