Wind-Powered Street Lighting?
Cold Ashby Parish Council's website reports that Northants Communities Foundation has granted Cold Ashby £5,000 from the Winwick Wind Farm Fund towards the Parish Council’s renewal of the village street lights.
Funding has already been received from Daventry District Council so the total received has now reached £10,025.
Other such awards have been granted for community projects and gratefully received.
Unfortunately, cash can in no way compensate for the industrialisation of rural landscapes.
