The Barn is approached from the north along a private track leading past our own house to a parking and turning area outside the house.

Open plan living

From the house door a lobby leads to an attractive, well proportioned living area comprised of dining-kitchen and lounge. Huge windows - with integral sliding door leading out to the patio - look out across the croft and down to the shore and the many lochs, hills and islands beyond.

Outside

Timber decking at the back of the house - facing south - extends the living area outdoors, with what must surely be one of the most stunning outlooks in all of Uist, regardless of the weather.

The house is set amidst the unspoilt natural land of our croft, giving unfettered access to sheltered sandy inlets and rocky headlands of the shore just below the house - ideal for watching red deer, otters, eagles, herons and so much more besides.
