About the Seminar

The unique nature of the handbell as a group instrument has seen a tremendous interest across the globe in churches of many denominations. A handbell ministry is considered by many to be a microcosm of the church at large. Every individual is an essential element of the whole group working together with a common aim. A handbell group engenders a strong need to work as a team, so that the music is made by working together with each other.
- For 25 years the Ring in Praise Seminar provided hands-on opportunities to develop skills, ring through a variety of music, and work under the coaching of experienced ringers and directors in a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Dunblane Cathedral in central Scotland was the venue for this annual event. Topics related to developing church use io ringing instruments can now be provided in request to churches at their own church.
