Chromotransfert (A. Besson) was a very prolific producer of decals. Not only did they do pinups (as shown here) but they also printed for the tourist industry, such as little vignettes with which to adorn all sorts of souvenirs with a city crest etc.
They did produce double faced girlie decals (see chapter French Double Face) but they also used that same artwork to produce regular, single sided, decals. Some show the front, some the rear and it is a bonus when you have the two together ! This meant you could have the image you really wanted and did not have to stick it on a see-through surface.
The first 14 you see here, all marked with a PU serialnumber, I bought in one lot. With them came a little envelope marked "Pochette SCANDALE". Although appropriate I don't know whether they were actually marketed like this.
