I have been model building since i was a child and have not stopped since. I joined the RAF Fire Service way back in 1981 and was retired due to ill health in 2004. My passion for all things Royal Air Force  and in particular the RAF Fire & Rescue Service has stayed with me.

When I heard that Barry of BW Models was retiring and hanging up his casting machine, I was among many hundreds of others, mortified to hear this very sad news. Hence why i in particular have bought the range off him.

We will endevour to uphold the high standards that Barry has maintained over the years and give the same if not better level of customer service.

May i wish Barry and his wife a very happy retirement and to Barry many happy hours at the model bench working on his stuff for a change.
