The Green was officially opened when Ladies President Margaret Murray delivered the Jack and 1st Bowl of the season. A good crowd had gathered for the opening, and 28 Bowlers participated in the seasons first competition for the Chairmans Cup. The winning triple of John Campbell, Anne Baillie and Alex Cooper lifted the cup. Those assembled were then treated to a excellent Buffet and some well earned refreshments. Thanks to all who contributed to the success of the day, especially the Caterers, bar staff, and ticket sellers. Also thanks to those who came along to the opening. Hopefully the start of a great season at Caldercraig.
