blt63, whose principal instrument is laptop & controller, is from a small, working class mining town in the north of England.  She started making music 2 years ago after finding a voice with which to speak, or rather sing, the truth of a life lived without ever having been fully present; commonly known as 'dissociation'.  Various stays in psychiatric hospitals, numberous jobs and a load of try out identities have finally led her to the music stage, where she is completely at home, and where all is told.

blt63’s processed sounds and live vocals is an alternative mix of dark electronica, glitch, jazz and classical. There’s also a performance element when you see her live, with an intimate, confessional style delivery, fused with minimal but expressive movement.

It’s the interconnected yet often dissociated realms of existence we all experience, that blt63 seeks to explore through music, ultimately deconstructing, reframing and reclaiming them as a whole.
