A big thank you.
On Saturday19th March a hard working band of volunteers came to help with a tidy up of Coronation Wood. We took the opportunity of the good weather to get this task done before the bluebells come into bloom. The Forestry Commission have been kind enough to place a seat at the shore path which we have placed to give a wonderful view toward Girl Sharon.
In the evening we had a great BBQ and bonfire on the beach. It was good to to relax and enjoy the evening after a busy day. We were joined by Rory who was celebrating his 4th birthday- a fitting place to be as he was only 1 year old when he planted the rowan tree to celebrate the rejuvenation of the wood.
A big thank you to all who joined us and to the others who follow what we are doing.
