Goodbye to a friend.
One of our loyal volunteers and resident of the village passed away on 20th February after a short illness. Barry Waldapfel was a true gentle gentleman, respected and liked by all who were lucky enough to be part of his world. We will miss him- but one of the parts he played in our village will always be evident as you walk through the village and enjoy the sight of the pockets of snowdrops he helped to plant. Thank you Barry.
