19 October 2015
A good time was had by all.
Last Friday 16th October a group of us got together and had a bbq and bonfire on the beach adjacent to Coronation Wood. This gave us the chance to get rid of a few branches which had been removed from the the wood in an enjoyable social evening. The weather was very kind to us and we enjoyed the delicious food and great company under a canopy of a clear starry night. As well as the bonfire Geoff Carr had crafted a Norwegian Candle which added to the ambience of the evening as well as keeping us warm. Catriona McPhail entertained with a couple of renditions of Scottish songs on her tin whistle. Overall, a very enjoyable evening. Hopefully the first of many.
