Internship?
HI there!

My name is Carla Schweizer, I'm currently 21 years old and live in Freiburg, the most southern city in Germany. I study Ethnologie (Cultural Anthropology) and Skandinavistik (Scnadinavian Studies) there. For the coming 5th term there is a stay abroad planned and I'd like to gain experiences in doing an internship. My study asks for a stay for at least three months but I'm willing to stay longer. The space of time should be between the middle of August 2011 and March 2012 (I personally prefer the first period from September on). Additionally to my mothertongue German can I speak English, Swedish and little Spanish.
I did my A-level exam at a school for Socialpedagogy where I developed social competences through my main subjects Pedagogy and Psychology. I strenghtened them through various internships and finally went to Greece, where I worked as an au pair and touristleader. After my study I would like to do development work or maybe work for an NGO. I would be very glad if I could make some experiences at your or one of your partners' organisation and see it as the best beginning for my future! I really like working with people from different cultures and I'm especially interested in human rights and politics.

KInd regards,

Carla
