Overcast but dry in Ayrshire. Tom's military train had an outing under the watchful gaze of the Ecclefechan Lancers.

The photographer was a little caught out by the speed of Ian W's Bombay & Baroda No.1, seen here with steam to spare while in charge of the morning express.

Ian McG's Roundhouse Atlantic added a touch of local colour. The prototype was built in Ayrshire and ran on the Campbeltown & Macrihanish, a short trip Doon the Water.

Other locos featured today included Andrew's meths fired Mamod, Dave W's 1984 vintage Merlin Midas as well as Tom's Garratt.
