FAQ

Are the workshops really free?   Yes, thanks to our generous grant funding!

How do I find the venue?  Spinney Hollow is in Fair Oak, near Winchester, Hampshire UK.  Once you have booked, you will receive an information pack with all the details you need to find us.

Are the workshops suitable for children? They are aimed at adults rather than children, but children who want to sing or just listen will be very welcome, as will children who want to have a go at woodland tasters.  Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you have any queries about this please get in touch via the contact us page.

What should I wear? Well, the venue is in a wood - and the path can be muddy, so wear sensible shoes or walking boots - definitely not the stilettoes! There is shelter in case of rain, but this is not an indoor event, so dress accordingly.  "There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes."

What about refreshments?  Bring a picnic lunch.  Teas and coffees will be available, but you might want to bring a bottle of water, especially if you are singing.

What facilites are available at Spinney Hollow?  Have a look at the information on their website http://www.spinneyhollow.co.uk

How accessible is the venue?  There are bus services to Fair Oak from Southampton and Winchester. Let us know about any particular access needs when you fill in your booking form.
