This is the twenty-fourth installment in the illustrious WWE career of Edge. In my opinion, this is the BEST volume of his career and he really becomes the TOP heel in the industry. He acts as maniacal as ever (some compare him to Heath Ledger as the Joker) and he made Smackdown the show to watch. This volume covers his career from June 13, 2008 through August 17, 2008 and covers every match, promo, and interview that Edge was involved in between the specified dates. This includes all of his backstage segments (too many to name) including his “beloved” wife Vickie, his conversations with La Familia, and his meetings with the wedding planner. Matches and angles include Edge being interviewed, Edge talking to Vickie backstage, Edge and Vickie watch Batista vs Khali, Edge talks to Chavo Guerrero, Edge talks to Vickie, Edge is the guest referee for the Batista vs Chavo Guerrero match, Edge vs John Cena on Raw, Edge wins the Raw vs Smackdown vs ECW Battle Royal, Edge confronts Triple H on Smackdown, Edge vs Matt Hardy, Edge vs Batista at the Night of Chmapions, Edge cuts a great promo on Raw until Batista comes out an annihilates him (afterwards, CM Punk cashes in his money in the bank to become World Champion), Edge leaves the arena all pissed off, Edge cuts a promo telling off Vickie (the marriage is off( and Hawkins/Ryder, Edge talks to La Familia (showing signs of cracking), Edge vs The Big Show (him and Vickie reconcile after the match), the entire Edge/Vickie wedding reception where Triple H reveals that Edge made out with the sexy wedding planner and made fun of Vickie (this is great!), Edge vs Triple H at the Great American Bash, Edge cuts a promo apologizing to Vickie (she announces that she has reinstated the Undertaker and he will wrestle him at SummerSlam in a hell in a cell!), Edge has Mick Foley as a guest on the Cutting Edge (in Foley’s final WWE appearance, Edge annihilates him!), Edge vs Jeff Hardy on Saturday Night’s Main Event, Edge talks to Vickie/Chavo, Edge cuts another maniacal promo and attacks Chavo, Edge “kidnaps” Vickie and cuts a scary, maniacal promo as they both lay side by side next to the ring and reminisce, and finally, Edge vs the Undertaker at SummerSlam in a hell in a cell match. Edge is chokeslammed through the ring and is engulfed by flames! This volume captures Edge at his best (well, most evil really).


EDGE in WWE Volume 23 Approx. 6 Hours VG-EX Quality
This is the twenty-third installment in the career of the “Rated R Superstar” and it covers March 14, 2008 through June 6, 2008. This volume begins with Edge teaming up with Hawkins/Ryder to battle Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair in a steel cage match. From there, matches and angles include Edge vs Funaki, Edge hosting a funeral for the detah of the Undertaker's winning streak at WrestleMania, Edge vs The Undertaker in an excellent match where Edge loses the title at WrestleMania 24, Edge ina vartiey of skits with Vickie including getting facials, in bed, etc..., Edge sits in the crowd for the Batista vs Undertaker match, Edge/JBL/Orton/Chavo vs Cena/HHH/Undertaker/Kane, Kane is a guest on the Cutting Edge in ECW, Edge vs CM Punk, Edge vs The Undertaker at Backlash in a match that Edge is stretchered out of, Edge vs Undertaker at Judgment Day, Edge has a face to face with the Undertaker regarding the TLC match against the Undertaker at One Night Stand, and Edge/Hawkins/Ryder/Chavo vs Batista/Colin Delaney'Nunzio/Funaki, and so much more including all of the Edge-Vickie skits.

Edge destroys The Undertaker with a steel chair and then lays Batista on top of him in a shocking turn of events. From there, Edge begins his love affair with Vickie Guerrero after she is yelling at him for interfering in the title match, they begin kissing! From there, Edge hosts the Cutting Edge with Batista, Edge walks out on Vickie so the Undertaker tombstones her, Edge vs Batista, Edge vs Kane, Edge/Orton/Umaga vs Ric Flair/Triple H/Batista, Edge vs Funaki, Edge vs Batista vs The Undertaker in a Triple Threat Match from Armageddon, Edge/Hawkins/Ryder vs Batista, Edge vs Rey Mysterio in a beat the clock challenge, Cutting Edge with CM Punk, Edge/Chavo vs CM Punk/Rey Mysterio, Edge vs CM Punk, Edge vs Rey Mysterio at the Royal Rumble, Edge/Chavo vs Mysterio/Punk, Cutting Edge with Vickie/Mysterio, Edge has a Valentine's Day celebration with Vickie, Edge vs Rey Mysterio at No Way Out, Ric Flair is a gues on the Cutting Edge, Edge commentates matches, Edge vs CM Punk, and much more. This is the twenty first installment in the career of the “Rated R Superstar” and it covers June 4, 2007 through his injury (pec tear) in July of 2007.  At the start of this volume, Edge is the World Heavyweight Champion on Smackdown.  Matches/promos include Edge talking with a very strange Vince McMahon, a very good Edge title defense against Chris Benoit, Edge returns to Raw to wrestle John Cena, Edge vs Ric Flair, Edge interviews Torrie Wilson on the Cutting Edge, Edge/MVP vs Ric Flair/Batista, Edge vs Batista at Vengeance, Edge talks about the death of Chris Benoit and his family, Edge confronts Vickie Guerrero, Edge vs Batista in a rematch on Smackdown, Edge is confronted by Kane, Edge has a New Orleans Mardi Gras party in the ring and is attacked by Kane.  During this attack, Edge suffers an injury that will keep him out of the ring for up to six months.  Edge then comes to the ring, cuts a great promo, and surrenders the title to Teddy Long.  This installment concludes with footage of Edge’s surgery and him talking about his eventual return.

This volume covers the career of Edge from June 12th, 2006 – September 18th, 2006.  This volume is loaded and contains so much including Edge vs John Cena, Edge vs Ric Flair, Edge/Randy Orton vs Kurt Angle/Rob Van Dam, Edge vs Rob Van Dam for the World Title at Vengeance, Edge vs RVD vs John Cena for the World Title (Edge becomes world champion for the second time!), Edge & Lita go to a hotel (funny), Edge vs John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Edge/Lita vs Carltio/Trish Stratus, Edge/Orton/Lita vs John Cena/Carlito/Trish Stratus, tons of great in ring promos, Edge goes to Cena’s home and assaults his dad, Edge defeats Cena at SummerSlam in front of Cena’s hometown fans.  From there, Edge defends his World Championship against John Cena in an amazing TLC match at Unforgiven.  This is one of the best matches of Edge’s career in front of a hot crowd.  Unfortunately, Edge loses the title in front of the hometown crowd.  This volume concludes with the night after Unforgiven on Raw with Edge confronting John Cena in the ring.  Edge beats down Cena with the help of Murdoch and Cade before Shawn Michaels and Triple H make the save.  This is another great installment in the career of the Rated R superstar.

This volume covers his career from January 30, 2006 – June 11, 2006.  This volume is absolutely loaded with tons of matches, promos, interviews, and backstage segments.  Edge, with Lita by his side, battles many including Tommy Dreamer, Triple H, John Cena, and more.  This volume also contains the great Edge vs Mick Foley feud (including the WrestleMania match) and then their eventual partnership.  Edge also teams up with Lita to battle John Cena and Maria.  Edge teams up with Mick Foley to face Terry Funk and Tommy Dreamer at ECW One Night Stand in a wild match.  This volume concludes with Edge assisting Rob Van Dam in defetating John Cena for the World Title at the ECW Pay Per View.  Another great volume on the career of one of the franchise players in the wrestling business.


EDGE in WWE Volume 15   Approx.  6 Hours   VG-EX Quality
This volume covers his career from August 29, 2005 – January 29, 2006.  This is the volume where Edge finally becomes World Champion.  This volume starts with Edge in the midst of his war with Matt Hardy.  They have a brutal hardcore match on Raw, followed by Edge attacking Matt.  From there, Edge has battles with The Big Show, a Hell in a Cell with Matt Hardy from Unforgiven, a loser leaves Raw match with Matt, and much more.  Edge really becomes a main event player in this volume as he and Lita both become much more comfortable on the mic.  From there, Edge competes in 8 man tag matches, debuts the controversial “Cutting Edge” talk segment, feuds with Ric Flair, and cashes in his Money in the Bank to defeat John Cena for the world title!  Edge defends his World title in an excellent bloody ladder match against Ric Flair on Raw.  This volume concludes with Edge losing the title to John Cena at the Royal Rumble.  This volume is loaded with tons of excellent promos, interviews, and matches of The “Rated R Superstar”!

This volume covers his career from March 21, 2005 – August 22, 2005.  This volume starts with the build up for WrestleMania 21, where Edge competes in the “Money in the Bank” ladder match.  This volume is loaded with tons of excellent matches, angles, and interviews including Edge & Christian vs Chris Jericho & Shelton Benjamin, the excellent 6 man ladder match to earn the right to face the heavyweight champion whenever they want between Edge vs Chris Jericho vs Kane vs Chris Benoit vs Shelton Benjamin vs Christian, various battle with Chris Benoit, Edge vs Val Venis, Edge vs Chris Jericho, Edge vs Kane, and so much more.  This volume also includes the entire angle where Edge form an alliance with Lita, who he had a real-life affair with behind the back of his wife and Lita’s boyfriend, Matt Hardy.  This is one of the most intriguing angles and Edge cuts some of his best promos to date.  He shows great intensity in his promos as he torments the recently fired Matt Hardy.  He makes out with Lita constantly and even attempts to get married to her on Raw.  This eventually leads to Matt’s return and the battle between Matt and Edge ensues, leading up to their SummerSlam battle.  This volume concludes at the Raw on the night after SummerSlam.

This volume covers his career from November 22, 2004 - March 14, 2005.  In this volume, Edge's feud with Shawn Michaels really intensifies and pushes Edge to main event matches.  This volume includes tons of excellent matches including Edge's title shot against Triple H from Japan, battles with Chris Benoit, a Battle Royal, matches with Randy Orton, a match against Eugene, Edge's match against Shawn Michaels at The Royal Rumble and Edge's participation in the Rumble match, Edge in the Elimination Chamber, an excellent bloody street fight against Shawn Michaels, a match against Batista, battles with Jericho, and much more.


EDGE in WWE Volume 12   Approx  5.5 Hours   VG-EX Quality
This volume covers his career from July 19, 2004 – November 22, 2004.  It is in this volume where Edge finally becomes a heel again and is pushed as a main eventer!  This volume is absolutely loaded with tons of excellent matches, promos, and interviews including his feud against Randy Orton (and subsequent title reign!), participation in some battle royals, feud with Chris Jericho and Batista (Edge gets booed in his hometown return!), tons of six man matches and so so so much more.  It is in this volume that Edge becomes obsessed with the Heavyweight Championship and feels he is continually screwed out of his shots.  He wages war with Shawn Michaels and takes him out at Taboo Tuesday. Edge becomes maniacal and attacks his brother Christian after a loss in a tag match and this volume concludes with an excellent steel cage match between Edge and Chris Benoit.

This volume chronicles Edge’s return to the WWE from a year long neck surgery.  This volume covers his career from March 14, 2004 – July 12, 2004 and features every match, promo, and interview that took place within the specified dates.  See Edge’s return on Raw, as he spears Eric Bischoff.  From there, Edge feuds with Kane, teams with Chris Benoit to become the Tag Team Champions, battles with all the members of Evolution, losing the belts to La Resistance, teasing a heel turn on Benoit, several excellent matches with Randy Orton, including Edge becoming a five time Intercontinental Champion after an excellent match with Randy Orton at Vengeance, a battle with Batista and much, much more.  I am so glad Edge has returned and is getting a big push.  This DVD is loaded and is a must for any Edgehead!

This volume, follows the career of Edge from October 31, 2002 – March 8, 2003. This volume concludes with Edge talking about his neck injury that will keep him out of the ring for approximately 1 year! Edge truly becomes a franchise player in this volume before his untimely injury! Can’t wait for him to come back so I can begin work on volume 11!


EDGE in the WWE Volume. 9     6 Hours    VG-EX Quality
This Edge volume is a continuation from Edge Vol. 8. It picks up Edge's career from May 28, 2002 and goes through either late October or early November (depending on how much I can cram on here). Edge has really perfected his craft and become one of the best wrestlers in the world today. See his incredible feuds with Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, and Eddie Guerrero (which produced some of the best matches of all-time), as well as all his interviews, angles, etc… See the incredible tag team matches as he teamed up with Rey Mysterio to go for the Tag Titles, culminating with the AMAZING Rey & Edge vs Angle & Benoit match from No Mercy 2002 (one of the best matches I have ever seen!). These Edge volumes keep getting better and better!!

This volume picks up where the Edge/Christian Volume VII volume left off.  Christian’s career will also be followed individually from this point on.  This volume really follows Edge’s career into his solo superstardom.  He really comes into his own on this volume and is now a major player in the game.  See his feuds with Test, Booker T, and his awesome feud with Kurt Angle.  See him and Angle some classic matches including the loser loses his hair match!  This volume ends off with Edge vs Angle in a Hell in a Cell from Smackdown.  An excellent volume!

This is something that has eluded me for years, but I finally was able to get.  This is Edge’s career before his WWE run in the independents.  Edge is known as “Sexton Hardcastle” and is part of a tag team called Sex & Violence (along with Joe E Legend).  This compilation has a few matches of a very young Edge, as well as an appearance by a very young Christian!  It is fascinating to see Edge’s early career as he wrestled in front of very small crowds years before he became the Rated R Superstar.
