Health
All rabbits must have up to date vaccinations (Myxomatosis & VHD). Please bring your rabbit’s vaccination card with you. Animals will not be boarded without the relevant documents being checked – your pets may be refused and you will still be liable for the cost of your booking – NO refunds will be given.
Your pet must be in good health on arrival. We do have the right to turn away a sick pet.
If your pet becomes sick in our care, we will contact our vets. We will always try & make contact with you first. Any cost for treatment by the vet must be met by you, the owner. Your pet will be treated under your name and address.
We accept no liability in the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill or passes away whilst staying at Whitwood Holiday Hutches. All pets are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
Payment
All payments must be made in full on the day of arrival. Cash only please.
The daily rate includes the day your pet is brought to us and the day they leave regardless of the time of day.
We do not ask for a deposit when you make your booking – so all bookings are held in good faith. However, this does mean a hutch is reserved for you so please inform us a.s.a.p. if you need to cancel a booking.
Abandoned Pets
If your pet is not collected within 7 days of the agreed collection date and you fail to contact us – we reserve the right to have the animal re-homed and legal action will be taken to reimburse boarding fees and re-homing costs.
Delivery & Collection
Will be at arranged times only. We can not guarantee to be in at other times.
All pets should arrive and depart in a suitable pet carrier. You agree to deliver and collect your pet on the dates agreed. Any changes to these dates will incur the relevant cost.
For hamsters, gerbils, mice etc. you are required to provide your own cage, food and bedding for the duration of your pet’s stay.
Access to Whitwood Holiday Hutches without permission will be seen as trespassing & we can prosecute. This is for the protection of all the animals.
