2009 has got off to a great start with 2 very sucessful major community work parties.
The works and repairs to the Boat Slip & Car Park have been a large financial investment for the improvements but it is expected that the 25 year old slip should last another 25 years before this structural work is required again.
The Costs for the Putting Green Works were just paint and brushes as labour was the main requirement and thanks to lots of community support labour and effort was plentiful.
A Community Notice Board made by Andy Surridge of Baroque Woodwork has now been positioned on the Whiting Bay Putting Green Hut.
This notice board will be used by all Whiting Bay organisations to promote village activities and events, display minutes of meetings, reports and all other community notices.
