The first test of the Wheel High ONE-OFF will be to try and climb Ben Nevis - the highest mountain in Scotland. Karen Darke, one of the founders of Wheel High, will be aiming to take the bike to the summit of "The Ben", finding out on the way what kind of terrain the ONE-OFF can handle, or not. The 'big day' is the 20th July.

This is a sponsored event, with an opportunity to win some great outdoor clothing prizes donated by Berghaus.

DIZZY FINGERS - a talk by Karen about skiing across Greenland and climbing El Capitan, Thurdsay 12th June, Inverness Thistle Hotel, 8pm. £5 on the door, all proceeds for a water supply for an African village.
